We all have eating disorders in some way or another I guess. The one I'm talking about right now though is hers:
You see that face?? She's saying she want's her damn food NOW! Generally we have always just left the food for the two cats down all the time and they eat when they are hungry- or that's the idea anyway. This ones problem is that every time she eats, she immediately throws up. On and off for the last two years this has been going on. We took her to see a new vet, finally got her eating a new food, and have some more medicine for her, so hopefully (fingers crossed) we will get somewhere this time.
The reason we have started picking the food up is so that we can monitor and make sure she actually is eating and also because the other one needs to go on a diet! See:
She can't groom her back or her rear that well anymore because of how she's built and how uh fluffy she's gotten. So now she is on a diet.
Whee!

OMG, Char, we have the same thing!
I have a 15 year old who is about 5.5 to 6 lbs (she's always been that small.) She eats, pukes, usually eats it again. Sometimes not. Her name is Princess.
The other one? A 16 lb Maine Coon! She's a 3 year old rescued kitty and really spirited. Get this, the big one only eats... 1/2 cup of food a day. Yep and she maintains 16 lbs. Wierd.
Her name is Tink. (The previous owner was making fun of the fact that Main Coons tend to have stinky poo unless they are fed easily digestible food.)
The big one wants to eat the little ones food all the time, so we created a "Tink Trap." We took a large clearish Rubbermaid tub and turned it over. Cut a Princess sized narrow hole in the end and put her food under it. (And, a dutch oven on top to keep it down.)
It has helped keep the big one out.
As for keeping the food down, we switched from Iams, to Nutro, and now we're doing a Nutro and Blue mix. We're in the mix of switching completely to Blue for little Princess. She seems to love it.
Okay, that's way too much puke and poo talk for one day. But, I think you have me on Facebook. Feel free to check out the pics of the cats - lol - and msg me if you need an ear.
Good luck with your "eating disorders!"
P.S. The paw size on your grey one...makes me wonder if there's some Maine Coon in her.
oh, poor kitty... even kitties have to diet... just not right...
